Audacious

It would be nice to add support for Audacious player. Its very similar to Xmms, so I don't think its too difficult.

Once there is time, I will hava a look at Audacious and check how much work it would be to add Audacious support to Remuco. Howver, this may take a while and since I do not use Audacious, my motivation is not that great ;) . So if you know a bit about programmin in python or c, you could tackle Audacious support on your own. Is that an option for you? If not, maybe someone else using Audacious could take that on.

VLC

How about vlc instead of movie player because vlc plays movies but the interface is similar to xmms just that there are more complicated things you can do

As said before, the fastest way to get support for other players is to develop a player proxy on your own :)

Currently Remuco is under heavy development to get enhanced by some really cute features and this needs all my time I can spent for Remuco. So no VLC support in the next weeks :/ . However, the new Remuco release will offer a more simple method to add support for other media applications. So stay tuned! At times I will post some news on development and release of the new Remuco version.

MPD

I'd love to see Remuco support MPD (http://www.musicpd.org/). Keep up the great work!
