Remuco has full support for Rhythmbox.

The Rhythmbox player proxy is actually a Rhythmbox plugin (written in Python).

Download the Rhythmbox player proxy package, unpack it and inspect the README for further steps.

Note: Python DBus bindings must installed to use the Rhythmbox player proxy.
