30 March 2007: Remuco Client 0.5.1 released

Remuco client 0.5.1 has just been released. This release brings some bug fixes and internal improvements. You most probably need this new release if the canvas variant only displayed a white screen (e.g. on Sony Ericsson M600i) and if the client crashed after running a long time (this was a memory problem which has been fixed now).

For details about the changes see the changelog.

26 March 2007: Remuco Client 0.5 released

The new Client version introduces a new user interface based on Canvas[1].

So the client can now be used via a mobile's joystick and numpad and the interface looks quite presentable now. This interface is themeable and 2 different themes are already included in the client.

However, since this new UI might look bad on some devices (with too small or too large screens) the client release package also contains a variant with the traditional UI which should fairly work on every mobile.

Moreover there is 3rd variant of the client in the release package which is compatible with mobiles supporting only CLDC 1.0 and/or MIDP 1.0 !

Note: This version of the client needs a Remuco server ≥ 0.4.3 !

26 March 2007: Remuco Server 0.4.3 released

The Remuco server 0.4.3 has minor enhancements and bugfixes. For details see the changelog within the package.

Note: This server needs a Remuco client ≥ 0.5.0 !

25 March 2007: Remuco website now hosted as a Wiki

The Remuco website is now hosted as a Wiki (a MediaWiki). That's easier to maintain and will hopefully encourage users of Remuco to contribute in documentation and screenshots and ... what ever you mind :) .
